Season 4 Episode 2: A Huge Thank You and Welcome to 2022

Welcome to 2022 Season 4

A few weeks ago I received an invitation via e-mail from Anchor to upload video files via Anchor that will come through as a video on the Spotify platform.

“Your account has now been enabled for Video Podcasts. For step-by-step instructions on publishing your first Video Podcast episode, check out our how-to guide.”

Technology continues to find ways in which to bring us together as a global community. Over the past months, we have learned to work, study, and connect within a virtual environment.

I recall the exact moment when I pressed the publish button for my first blog post in 2010. I felt that same sense of anticipation and trepidation when I published my first podcast in 2019. And now, in 2022, I have accepted Anchor’s invitation to post a Video Podcast. The length is less than two minutes long. It is my thank you for your support and encouragement of life-affirming conversations. January is the month for beginnings!

As Meister Eckhart once wrote: Be willing to be a beginner every single morning.

When I upload this episode to Anchor, the episode will be sent to listening platforms which will be in audio format. The Video Podcast will only be available on Spotify. For those who do not follow TTT on Spotify, I have included the video in this post.

Listeners can chose whether to listen to the audio or watch the video. Part of what makes Video Podcasts extra-special is that they can be viewed front-and-center or seamlessly switched to the background, for on-the-go listening.

Welcome to 2022. Thank you for listening in and for sharing your stories.

The adventure continues…

A Huge Thank You and Welcome to 2022 Tea. Toast. & Trivia.

Thank you for being there from the very beginning, Dave. What a fun journey this has been. Over the past months we have seen some interesting things occur within the social media setting. Parameters are changing and social media is being critically evaluated, especially given that we are working and connecting within the virtual context. The idea of having a video podcast on Spotify via Anchor, which offers unlimited free hosting, is a interesting iteration. I have yet to fully understand the process, but technology is opening new avenues of connection. Here’s to a new year of great conversations!

Thank you for your generosity in sharing your thoughts on TTT, for allowing me to recite your poetry, for your amazing comments and suggestions. 2021 was a brilliant year of discovery how to connect virtually. As Rainer Maria Rilke once wrote: “The future enters into us, in order to transform itself in us, long before it happens.”

I am excited for your Julie – I have a wonderful sense that you are on a remarkable path of discovery. Your attention to detail in the archives allows for easy access to stories. Your introduction on December 31 says it best: “Welcome, fellow voyagers. This newsletter is in the process of becoming.” I am glad that I am a fellow voyager!

And thank you for providing such a warm and cosy environment to listen to and watch your podcasts and videos. I love seeing Vancouver in the background. I do miss that place. You must have tapped it before the snow. Keep warm and stay safe. xo

Thank you for sharing Amanda’s adventures on TTT and for introducing me to Marcelle who is TTT’s “artist in residence.” You are right about the timing. When we heard about the weather warning, we grabbed the cell phone and headed out to the Seawall. Two days later the snow came. And just today, the snow is coming down with force. I’m inside with hot chocolate! Happy New Year! Sending hugs along with my gratitude!!

Thank you, Debby for your generosity of spirit in creating compassionate communities where creativity flows and ignites new possibilities. The snow is fast disappearing in Vancouver but there is still enough snow to hear the crunch of my footsteps. Hugs!

It was good to hear your “Thank yous”. I would like to say: “Your Welcome” many times over. You have added so much to my life, and, may I add, your positive articles set the stage for uplifting messages from others. I believe your words have encouraged many of us to look at life positively and to expect great things in 2022. You are always brave and willing to try new and exciting things, so I am expecting surprises in the new year! ! It is truly a learning and exciting experience to follow the things you introduce and write about!! Happy and adventurous year 2022! !

You have been with me from the beginning, Frances. What a journey we’ve been on over the decades. Thank you for going into the podcast unknown and sharing the times of the 1930’s. I am looking forward to more look backs.
