Welcome to Tea, Toast and Trivia.
Thank you for listening in.
It is December 27th and within a few short days we will welcome 2020, a new year and a new decade. Have you made your resolutions yet? Every year, the top resolutions are always about taking care of ourselves. Whether it is losing weight, getting in shape, learning something new, traveling to new places, or spending more time with family – it is about wellness and reducing stress.
We live in a world that demands our time and energy. These are precious and scarce resources. There is only so much time and we have only so much energy.
Time to check in with my wellness coach, Stephanie from Bold Moves, for an energy boost and a great conversation on what’s next in 2020.
So put the kettle on and add to our discussion on TeaToastTrivia.com. I am your host Rebecca Budd and I’m looking forward to sharing this moment with you.
Thank you for joining Stephanie and me on Tea Toast & Trivia as we welcome 2020.
One last thought comes from Neil Gaiman: “Whatever it is you’re scared of doing, Do it.”

Interesting conversation. I already took a resolution for 2020 now: Besides Tea Toast & Trivia, to follow Stephanie’s Bold Moves. Rebecca, I can see your inspiration in her enthusiasm for Bold Moves shine. Example is the only thing in influencing others. Good day to you. Jo 😊😊

Hello from rainy Vancouver! Your comments brought sunshine to my day. You reminded me that humanity thrives within a community that welcomes new ideas, respects traditions, and allows for conversations where there is a determination to seek mutual understanding. While we may never have complete agreement, (group think is very scary) we are able to view a situation, question, direction through the lens of another person. And thereby gain a wider, more wholistic perspective. By the way, I would love to podcast from a distance with you, if possible. 2020 holds many possibilities and exciting unknowns.

Wonderful! Thank you Jo and Carina for your friendship and great conversations. By the way, our 2020 project is to look through all of our movie videos/CDs. It is going to be fun.

You guys do wonderful podcasts!
I don’t make resolutions, because I break them. It’s the rebel in me. (lol)
So… I know what I need to do, and I point myself in that direction.
HAPPY NEW YEAR
Wow.. 2020… Hey, it’s the year of the Rat! It’s going to be good. Rats are clever, and reproduce auspiciously! It’s a good year for making money, and family!

Thank you for listening in. I have learned a great deal about podcasting over the past months, including learning how to capture audio is clear so that people have no difficulty in listening in (still learning). Podcasting is on the rise, which suggests that we want vibrant conversations that will allow us to share knowledge, learn from each other, and gain a better understanding of the world around us. With our search technology, we can find topics quickly, easily – news, books, science, travel. And it comes in bit-size chunks which fit into our busy schedules. Here’s to a new year of possibilities. Welcome the year of the Rat!

What appeals to me about boldness is that it’s really fearlessness. Not in a bravado or reckless kind of way, but one that’s intentional with practical steps. Stephanie’s plan to just put it out there, so there’s community and our own conscience to support us. Speaking or writing helps keep us from betraying our resolve. Being fearless is actually believing in something or someone, even when it’s just ourselves. That’s an exercise in which boldness is contagious! Thanks for inspiring us through sharing Stephanie’s boldness, and your own, with these podcasts. Those people who roll their eyes seem all too willing to abandon their own resolve 🙂

Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!!! Your encouragement and support have been invaluable through this learning process. You have been the one who has inspired me!!! I remember the first podcast, my finger hovered for several minutes over the publish button, my heart beat just a little (lot) faster. You are so right about writing or speaking our plans and intentions. Once its “out there”, it becomes the moment that will be locked in our memory, because it has been intentional. Many hugs coming your way with great speed.
